The Professional Science Master’s Program in Nanoscience at Arizona State University’s Tempe campus targets students with traditional bachelor and master’s degrees or working professionals seeking further training in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. Students take 30 credit hours of cross-disciplinary courses with a focus on commercial innovation that can be completed in an accelerated 12-month program or part-time 24-month program. Since Tempe is a hub for many high-tech industries, students have the opportunity to interact with local industry professionals and potential employers through a Professional Seminar course. 16 students are currently enrolled in the program, and 10 students have graduated since the program began in the Fall 2008 Semester.
